Welcome Early Explorers!

We are excited to be spending time together as your child has the opportunity to cruise around and explore the classroom and materials independently, allowing them to seek out what interests them and get familiar with the environment, other children and adults. During our session, there’ll be activities for exploration based on curiosity. As the children get comfortable and begin to trust the environment, we will add some sensorial materials which will include some wet and some dry (paint, other dry ones).

Dress your child ready to explore and use all senses.

All materials will be washable but we can’t make promises.

Change of clothes recommended.

We suggest that during class, and once the child is engaged and comfortable on their own, adults sit back as it can get crowded with both adults and children.

Help us keep our space quiet, calm and peaceful and respectful of your childs time to work/play.

Watch closely enough to help only if conflicts arise and to keep them safe (we can help negotiate any sharing conflicts).

We want you to enjoy those little moments when they discover something you didn’t help with.

Also, it’s a nice opportunity to meet other adults and enjoy the cuteness of the class in progress.

At the end of our session, we will put work away (adults and children)and gather for songs, games and goodbye.
