Using books as an introduction to the world of yoga, we'll use our favorite stories to introduce the creative poses of yoga to little ones. We'll become lost dogs eaten by books, lions searching for their smiles, spiders on the farm and sometimes talk about hearts and feelings. This class will have kids entranced by the written word, using mindful breathing props and games for summer fun! Every class will include the key to yoga, rest time or savasana, teaching busy little New York bodies that resting is the key to calmness, success and health.
This summer class is best for independent two's to five years. Adult participation.

Shenaaz has taught kids and family yoga for over eight years, venturing out to pave her own yogic path, creating the kids and family yoga company, Little Feet Wise Heart yoga. Watching children connect with their breath, learn about their bodies and understand the power of stillness continues to excite and awaken her practice every day.
